Pros

Decent health insurance covered by the employer. Corporate pays for a decent training experience in Atlanta with a chance to meet the almighty APM (Alan Merrill), narcissus incarnate serving as CEO.

Cons

Top down, Beazer is run as a tyrannical structure that allows little to no room for error or bad impressions. Management locally makes land acquisition decisions that can make or break a sales agent's career. If management does not approve of your suggestions or attitude, they will dismiss you without so much as a courteous two week notice. No coaching, encouragement, or conference is available to improve employee morale/performance...whichever happens to be lacking. To succeed, you must submit wholeheartedly to your division president, the CEO, CMO, and sales VP. Don't like our way? Goodbye!

Pros

Good people scattered throughout but they are hanging on until another opportunity comes along - actually, people have left for further commutes and less pay...ummm...what does that say about the employees willingness to stick around

Cons

Work overload, cash is low, spending is high, people throw each other under the bus every chance they get to avoid the yelling from the CEO and CFO. New people come in as the next best thing and then they get the "stink" after about a year. No one is as smart as the executive team so there is no reason to work hard because eventually you will be let go because you can't multiply 7 times 8

Pros

Great environment and lots of good employees. Upper mgmt tries to do nice things for employees (morale boosters).

Cons

Lots of micromanaging. Inability to make a decision and see it thru. Good employees seem to get beat down till they are just over it. Seems like lots of turnover at corporate & in division offices
