Pros

Decent pay. Pretty communities.

Cons

Employee benefits are lacking. Be prepared to work every weekend, and much of your work week will feel like solitary confinement. During the interview process I was told that weekends would rotate, and that every weekend would not be required. Bell Partners has a serious morale problem, especially in the Atlanta region. Employees are not recognized for the hard work that they put in for the property level - heck they aren't even told happy birthday by upper management. For a company that prides them self in improving employees skills, they really do not try to retain staff. Two coworkers were persecuted for "poor performance" ultimately being terminated, however the issues which they were terminated for were failings on the companies behalf. A large focus is put on numbers, no explanation from the employees point of view is allowed.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry you are disappointed in our benefits. We conducted a benefits survey last year, and received positive feedback. We also added a number of benefits in response to comments we received on that survey. If you have any safety concerns, please call me directly. Thanks. Mary Copeland, SVP Human Resources, 336-232-1900.

Pros

Great Benefits, Awesome Product, Everything You Need in Technology, and Amazing Perks

Cons

The down side of Bell is the aggressiveness of their Regional Mangers. Understanding that numbers matter is absolutely significant to success of the business, however the verbiage used to increase a occupancy is outrageous. Regional Managers have ultimate power to speak to you in a degrading manner. The regional managers are allowed to come and go as they please without out building a relationship with the staff in a business professional manner. This is something that is huge to any employee and should be huge to a CEO as well. I understand that each state has different laws for termination, but taking heed that many companies over use their power to terminate people there should be more documentation when it comes to the grounds to terminate. If you contact Human Resources your discussion will be used against you, retaliation will come from all ways and they will not investigate any situation or conflict they will simply take the word of the community manager. Bell Partners values are wonderful, but they are not being overseen by people who care about serving their team. My suggestion to anyone looking to work for Bell would be to got o work, do your job, document every concern and remain vigilant.

Pros

Leadership is some of the best in the industry. Organization is not "too big" or "too small" - just right. Great opportunities for the associates to grow n their career. Fair compensation and benefits.

Cons

Not a public company, so no opportunity to invest or get stock. Not a company that has "first entry advantage", they tend to wait for other competitors to test the waters (technology, employee programs, social responsibility, etc.).
