Pros

- You become numb to showing any signs of positive emotion for those 8-12 hours when you’re at your desk - Your coworkers become experts at describing the company as a meme...(Insert Ross shouting pivot!) - Beyond excited to use my new Benefitfocus journal to write down my anxiety induced thoughts at 2:00 am - Dogs and coffee are nice

Cons

- RESPECT the Circle of Excellence: Sales team bashes customer service. Customer service lacks confidence engineering. Engineering distrusts sales. - OWN IT! As shareholder, it’s important to read financial analyst’s articles because our stock continues to hit a 52 week low. - TOGETHER the one common theme is the lack of confidence in our leadership’s direction or strategy, but that strategy will probably change before you finish reading this - COMMUNITY of mediocrity. Don’t worry, you’ll still get that 3% annual increase after your review regardless of how well your manager said you did this year - ANTICIPATE that if you have a senior manager scared to talk to a customer, it’s not advised to promote them over an entire market - CELEBRATE that we love to buy new shiny tools and widgets, then a year later attempt to figure out how to use them properly

Pros

Getting paid is good; but if you think free coffee and soft drinks are a Pro, you need to get out more.

Cons

My team is disintegrating. When a manager openly screams at teammates something is wrong. And then that same manager gets on a call with a client and screams at them about how they don't understand how things work. Teammates will go and find a quiet room to work so they don't have to physically be near the toxic manager.

Pros

dog friendly, most of the people that you work with are amazing & hard working.

Cons

Honestly didn't realize how bad it was until I got out - it's like being in an abusive relationship. They pitch an amazing culture but all of the perks are to cover up the fact that you're going to be underpaid & working a min of 50-55 hrs/week and treated like garbage by your managers. It sounds childish but they really do all play favorites. Inconsistent processes all over the board, it's like no one can figure out how to do their jobs? Upper management is shady and Ray is bringing a bunch of changes that are great for the C-suite's pockets but takes away from lower level. I literally had to get extra approvals to order highlighters & post-it notes. With all of the cons, everyone still acts like it is the best job you're going to find in Charleston & it really isn't. The grass is definitely greener.
