Pros
Facilities are nice. Free snacks and drinks. More food includes salads/sandwiches/soup and frozen goods. The people here are smart, hard working, and talented. They made the work place more enjoyable than the amenities. The idea behind the new product is stellar.
Cons
"Dot com days" "having fun while working" "start up mentality" "Learning company" "roots" You hear these terms a lot around the work place, but they are just words. The one that is followed right now is "roots" because 15% of the company just got rooted out and the company is rooting for itself to get better after it. The values (with interpretation) One - (Way or the highway) Customers -- (Everyone is a customer, but only the biggest ones matter) Believe - (What you are doing is correct, it probably isnt) Drive - (Employees to the ground) Leadership - (Everyone is one from day one, but supreme leader knows best) Model - (Be Geeman - if you are not Geeman you are wrong) Fun - (Its not allowed) Kindness - (Is weakness - weakness also not allowed) By the way, the values were put in place by a person that was let go only after three weeks of working at BitTitan. All the departments cant work together because all the goals don't align. When they try to work together, it takes longer just to find common goals that don't conflict. Everyone is trying to drive "good" results so they can show off and be safe. But how can any department drive results when the company direction and message changes every quarter. Honestly if you read this far, all the other 1 Star reviews are spot on.
