Pros

Great space, snacks and events. This was one of the coolest places I've ever worked in terms of having a good time. I loved my teammates.

Cons

Nepotism and bullying make it almost impossible to do your job. Management, the CEO in particular employs family members and allows them to slack off forcing other employees to work harder to cover. Constant cursing, yelling, backstabbing and bullying from the CEO makes it a hostile and intimidating work environment.

CTO responding... I am not sure this post deserves a response and this it may come across as a bit defensive, but here it is anyways because.... I'm really upset! First, regarding bullying, this feedback is a repetition (over and over) from the same person. Talk about real online bullying! If the company made a mistake terminating your employment, we're confident you will move on to greener pastures (versus spending your spare time posting the same thing over and over again). Second, regarding the fact that <1% of employees are family members of our CEO, it is factually true. However, I am confident that any employee would take offense to the accusation of nepotism. If anything, those 2 people are held to a higher standard, and are well recognized as some of the hardest working employees in the company. I'm sorry, but it's not like building maintenance is a glamorous position! For the record, those are the same people who, when BitTitan was a 4 person company, volunteered their personal time to help paint the walls... Those folks certainly "don't enjoy or deserve to be degraded and humiliated when they work hard" (see advice to management above). Thanks for reading!

Pros

Good benefits (free food!), easy commute, 401k (good but could be better), and a nice new office with all the tech benefits that comes with it.

Cons

Since I started about 9 months ago things have rapidly declined. It is like they do not know how to handle the rapid growth. Communication has completely broken down in my department as well as cross-departmentally. They tried to fix some of the problems by providing management with training, however, this does not seem to be working. Rather then improving management it seems to be making it worse. They seem like they are stuck and have no idea how to fix all the issues people are bringing up.

Pros

Just like many of the other reviewers here, I loved the people I worked with. Yeah, the cool building and free food were great, but the real strength of the company was in its hardworking, fun-loving employees. Now they are leaving the company in droves.

Cons

- Toxic Culture from the top down including constant profanity, degrading your work, unrealistic deadlines, playing the blame game, and lack of culpability. - Broken product life cycle where executives' whims are the driving force behind features, not customer needs or PM research. With endless last minute changes and poor planning, the product ends up suffering from cut corners and half-completed features that will get fixed "someday". - "I could do your job in a weekend" -CEO, basically to every employee
