When Mario was asked in the meeting how we will measure the effectiveness of the Return To Office mandate Mario said... 'How about those stock prices!!!' Refusal to answer questions, ignoring employees concerns, stating those who don't want to return are 'vocal minority! And stating those who speak out against RTO are disrespectful. This has become a horrible place to work since the beloved Steve Edwards retired. HR and leaders will simply state, 'people are happy' when the misery of their employees are on clear display in front of them. Waiting for it.... The new marketing professional will respond to this review with gaslighting statements.

Where to start. Black & Veatch is the most two faced company I’ve ever worked for. They preach being “employee owned”. But when a major change comes they don’t listen to employees and do what’s best to line their pockets. New CEO Mario making changes he promised to leave alone. Trying to make Black & Veatch more like other companies. They promised work flexibility but now they are forcing everyone back to the office. Several employees were denied raises and bonuses over the past year because they were given the luxury of working from home. Now being forced to come into the office again without having a raise. Mandatory covid vaccines soon coming too. Don’t leave your current company to come here for greener pastures. It’s not going to be better. Company is experiencing high turn over. You will be swamped with projects the day you start. Stay away
