Pros

Some really interesting problems and a few really smart people. Company has a lot of potential to be huge in the gaming/tech space.

Cons

The ego of leadership is honestly insane. I have never worked anywhere in my life with such huge egos. The crazy part is they’re constantly getting things wrong and continue to do it. Engineering is a complete joke since no one trust each other and it seems people rather compete than work together.

Pros

- At the "doer" level there are some great personalities who love the product; they're users themselves. - Base salaries are at market rate, generally, for full timers.

Cons

- No profit sharing, equity grants on hire or after 1 year. They will allow you to buy stock, though the company isn't public and so there's no obvious way of cashing that out. -Contractor pay is very poor. - If you're not working on the League of Legends part of the app, you're working with little support, few guiding decisions and with near-zero resources. - Senior and executive leadership clearly has little or very poor skills and experience being managers or company stewards. Feedback regarding this is outright ignored or literally shouted down. - - Senior engineering leaders would literally tell me my perspective and knowledge didn't matter because I referenced my extensive previous experience under the guise of "Your past work doesn't make your present work correct." despite said leaders having less time working professionally than I had in my own specialty. - Executives, who I had to work with directly on requests from them or projects on which they were stakeholders, would leave my messages without any response or acknowledgement for weeks on end regularly. - Executives would belittle and shout dissenting opinions into silence. Your experience, skills or perspective didn't matter. Blitz App is their show, no one else's. - Performance bonuses were verbally / Slack detailed and promised around personal and project metrics during the hiring process and first weeks, then completely ignored and even said to have never been real later on. - Multiple colleagues were put on PIP's (Performance Improvement Plans) with literally no plan, just a date when they would be reevaluated. No criteria given and in most cases the date wouldn't be abided. This left these employees in a state of limbo where they neither knew why they were on a PIP nor when and how they could be released from the PIP.

Pros

Enthusiastic individuals SVP, Product - A true level 5 leader, providing balance, true motivational and executable direction, and confidence at Blitz. On-site dining options Game activities

Cons

Leadership team's hypersensitivity creates a culture of fear, hindering progress and learning from mistakes. The CFO is difficult to work with and lacks intelligence. The President prioritizes personal interests and agenda over the company's well-being. The CEO is intelligent and innovative, but lacks positive perception and effective communication skills.
