Pros

Love fellow coworkers. Most BCH staff appreciate life and desire challenge. BCH seems to want to provide a great working environment with some challenge to staff.

Cons

Men are paid and given higher job titles than women for identical positions and similar education. The top seems to advance, get bonuses, and are happy with their pay all the while suggesting that they are concerned about lack of adequate pay for BCH employees. Newer staff are now being brought in with up to 40% higher rates than past new hires. Dime a dozen long term employees have only received little to nothing in raises over the last 2 years. Those same employees that were underpaid for multiple years but stuck with their BCH family. Overall, compared to the industry, BCH still underplays. This makes it difficult to recruit and retain talent and quality. The talent moves on to better pay and challenge, and the mediocre, with little expectations, tend to stay. Unfortunately BCH attempts to facilitate employee/leadership training, with no real track for advancement. Education benefits stated in the hiring process are available to very few due to lack of funding.
