Pros

Great technology with inspiring senior leadership. The roots of Braze are filled with talent and a strong vision.

Cons

Post IPO Braze has turned quite political especially within the sales org. A series of bad hires in SMB leadership have set back certain teams years of progress. The lack of urgency to rectify issues is worrying. If you don't conform or mirror leadership your working life will suffer and they will turn on you to further push their agenda and buy time. SMB leadership are using their position as a stepping stone and care little about developing the talent around them. These hires don't reflect the great Braze culture and are destroying it from the inside out.

Pros

The individuals in the Singapore office are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and friendly. They are genuinely dedicated to working hard and expanding the brand in the APAC region.

Cons

-rigid management that mandates strict adherence to instructions and allows no space for suggestions or feedback. -Insist on arranging job briefing meetings at 5 pm to match UK time zone which doesn't work for hiring managers, was informed to escalate this minor issue to the upper management - get penalized for minor matters such as not copying managers into slack messages, -or being too quiet in the meetings, was taking down notes and trying to familiarize with the organisation hence there is no comment on the discussion - get penalized for voicing out suggestions to improve and streamline the process, -be prepared for lot of "agenda-less" meetings, have to meet the team 3 times a week to catch up and talk about what you did over the weekend :-( -one of Braze's core values is to "take a seat at the table," which does not align with reality.
