Pros

This is the best home health agency I have ever worked for (this is my fourth). The office schedules everything well in advance and communicates with the field constantly. The DON is very supportive and I never feel I am out there all alone. The owner is very approachable and friendly and really cares about you. My paycheck has never been a minute late and I have always been treated fairly and with respect. This is a good place to work with good people above and along side of you.

Cons

The pay is low, but it is what everyone is paying STNAs right now. Also, while there are benifits, they are so expensive I cannot afford them.

Pros

They pay weekly, Office staff is great to work with, Someone always answers the phone, You even get the owner's and nurse's cell phone numbers, They respect my work - I have even referred my friends to work there.

Cons

I wish they had more long hours shifts. They do call me about live-in cases, but I can't do live-in.

Home health care itself is a difficult field to work in, but the people at BrightStar make me feel good about coming to work every day.
