Pros

I have been lucky enough to be part of a successful, high growth culture at Businessolver. The team I have been with the past 2 years has been great in helping me grow personally and professionally. Smokey D's on Wednesday FTW. We have a strong leadership team here at the company that is engaged and excited for the growth of the market and continues to encourage young professionals to grow!

Cons

With a growing company comes growing pains. Parking is less than ideal, but it is getting better! We are under going renovations to improve our building.

Pros

The food and beverage attraction to create camaraderie is a nice feature and often does the job. The employees are genuine and often very caring. For the most part people "seem" happy to have a job there.

Cons

So I quoted "seem" for a reason. For those who have limited contact with the CEO and his counterpart are pretty content with their job and getting underpaid, but for those working in direct line of the two at the top, it's an entirely different story. Have you ever heard of the saying...Leaders create other leaders while managers create followers? Well, that's what you'll get working for this dynamic duo. They do not want you to disturb their strategy nor will they listen to your ideas. If they communicate with their employees at all, it's after the fact and rumors have circulated twice over. They like droids and brown-nosers as their employees. The CEO is the worst of its kind. He struts around the office like he is king belittling those who won't gravel at his feet but he definitely pays close attention to those that bow to his presence. What I don't get is how the board can turn their back to his very poor ratings all over the job boards. That's even scarier to me. His counterpart has their own issues that can't be discussed because they are not appropriate for public review. Let's just say, I feel very sorry for them, and hope that you don't have work directly for them or you'll be confused on a regular basis.

Pros

This is a place that truly engages its employees throughout the organization. Businessolver takes the time to make sure that it is rewarding its employees for the hard work that we put in throughout the year. Whether that it is the catered meals (hey, free food!), snacks (sweet, salty, healthy!) to get me through the day, all the necessities that I need for workouts (sans the workout clothes), and events for my family - there is plenty of ways that they are taking care of us as employees that I feel often get overlooked. I certainly take it for granted when they are out of my favorite yogurt! Lots of opportunities to either fine tune your skills in targeted areas of expertise or be able to branch out and try something new. Businessolver isn't scared of allowing people to try their hand at something a bit out of your comfort zone, they trust in the good talent that we bring. There are so many incredibly talented people that I work with. I am constantly learning something from everyone that interact with - young, old, experienced or really new to the workforce, we are all constantly sharing and learning! I think there are a lot of opportunities to continue to grow in current role, or apply to something different. We're always growing and I am looking forward to my next position!

Cons

I think we could all benefit from additional vacation days, but I have some to start. While we are a technology company and have the opportunity to flex in and out of the office as it permits, it'd be nice to have additional opportunities or the autonomy to work remotely more often. But I guess I'd miss out on all the free food!
