Hello, I recognize that your review is anonymous, but I would like to help you. All staff should have a lunch and promised raises. If you feel more training is necessary, we have weekly training office hours and on-site BCBAs to help. Butterfly Effects also routinely supports additional training to all RBTs if requested. Please give a call at 954-947-3022 and I will do my best to make working at Butterfly Effects a more positive and supportive experience. Dr. Steve Woolf, President

Pros

The majority of the BCBAs are hard working and care about both their clients and the technicians that work for them

Cons

New technicians are often placed on challenging clients with little to no training. Technicians are frequently placed with clients and asked to sub without being given access to any of the programming or information about the client including the BIP. Billable hours means more money for corporate even if that time is not beneficial to the client. Administration is also horrendous at scheduling and communication. You will be told by one person to show up to sub and then upon arriving, you will be sent home because no one else thought you were coming in. Both centers in Louisiana are filthy and not cleaned frequently. Many of these issues are common throughout the field. Butterfly Effects is not alone in having these issues, but in the 2 years I've spent there, there was nothing done to improve these conditions.

Pros

-Generally kind supervisors and coworkers. -Ability to get experience working with kiddos.

Cons

-Underpaid commute, only paid for commute after 45 minutes of driving...... -Will give you 15 hours a week, with 10 hours of commute which they barely compensate for. -M-F schedule, but generally very few hours. -Extremely disgruntled, rude, and Karen-like client families who live to pick on service workers and take their frustrations out RBT's. -Company bias towards client families concerns over their working staff.
