Butterfly Effects Response

In the rapidly evolving industry of ABA therapy, which is in part defined by the massive shift to the medical model by payers, leaders who have weathered the political, financial, and operational storms of health care are valuable, steady leaders. Hiring mistakes can be devastating and those same experienced leaders sometimes need to make difficult decisions to mitigate the potential destruction of an ill-fitting hire. Not everyone will always agree with those difficult decisions and no one at Butterfly Effects takes those decisions lightly. Experienced leaders understand the risks associated with team members who do not fit the culture and yet believe that once a hire is made, it is our role to help everyone be successful. Success, while a relative term, relies on cooperation, self-reflection, and receptiveness to change. When the pillars that define the essence of being a team player cannot be cultivated, then we assist those leaders or team members in being successful somewhere else with the understanding that there may be a price to pay in the clean up effort. Again, experienced leaders make tough and unpopular decisions for the betterment of the team, company, and ultimately clients. The accusations described by a disgruntled team member are just that. As evidenced by all other company responses on this web-site, we admit when we have opportunities for improvement; we thank those who provide insightful and meaningful feedback; we welcome all concerns and suggestions. Our growth, our team member engagement, our company-wide and personal communication efforts paint a significantly different picture demonstrating a positive shift in culture, operational strategy, and client outcomes. We always strive to ‘do the right thing’ at Butterfly Effects, no matter how difficult or challenging of an outcome because integrity is key to leadership. That is one measure of success.

This company is so unorganized and does not care about their employee's.

Pros

The only pro is that people quit so there is room for growth.

Cons

The clients cancel often and you are not paid- even when you drive to their house. Things appear organized although nobody follows through with things. Everyone is promised full time hours and nobody gets them.

Pros

Flexible schedule, families are wonderful and kids are amazing to work with, medium pay rate.

Cons

VERY few hours, hiring process takes months and months, no autonomy, zero benefits, very little room for growth. If you have enough income to last you 3-4 months during the hiring process (for which you will not work, or you will "train" for maybe 8 hours within those 4 months) then this is the company for you. If you can afford the out of pocket pay to become a certified RBT, then this is the job for you. Also, if you can live off of $500 a month, then this is the company for you, because that's about what your income will look like because of the lack of hours.
