- Lack of racial diversity in the higher level positions - Been in company for over 10 years and the ratio of female to male GMs is still 3-10 - Everyone is white , including the directors - Stressful - Need to stay long long hours if you want to make money - Super high employee turnover

Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management... it's a grind regardless of the company. The work is relentless, the customer always wants more better & cheaper and that's never going to change. What TMC can do is focus on recruiting, promoting and paying people who are prepared and ready to go the extra mile. Those who are providing little should be managed out. TMC could do a better job of rotating talent across accounts or groups to keep jobs and perspectives fresh. There is ample opportunity to get a better grasp of how employees are feeling. We do employee reviews, our customers do satisfaction reviews - I think there's an opportunity to get a pulse on the state of the accounts from those who live and breath in it every day. (Something outside of their own performance to grade twice a year.) The office is eerily quiet. People sitting 2 feet away from each other instant messaging instead of speaking out loud about the job, about the business or to ask a question. There is room for improvement and an absolute need to increase teamwork & collaboration.
