Pros

There used to be several pros for working here that have slowly faded. I love my customers and some co-worker relationships but that’s where it ends.

Cons

There’s been several management changes. The most recent one over two years ago came in and painted a great picture of the future. However, we’ve only seen negative changes… Sales managers went from managing 8 to managing 25+ sales reps. That’s not attainable. It was obviously a cost savings ploy. a culture that once listened to sales seems to resent all salespeople. Wins are no longer celebrated. No in person all hands to celebrate wins and get excited for a new year. Once a month call that is the exact same thing every time. Focused on margin and technology. Even acts like we are winning at times but truth is that 80% of the sales reps are failing right now. So many once strong reps can’t make numbers and that’s too much of a coincidence to call lack of effort. Our support, operations and product is failing us and has only gotten worse under this leadership.

Pros

Great financial benefits. Overall, the majority of people are smart, honest and hard working. If you like technology, there is plenty of opportunity to broaden your experience and education. The company does not shy away from spending money on technology. As long as the company has money to spend, they will spend the money.

Cons

Depending on your position, there is no work life balance. Upper management tends to dictate all aspects, irregardless whether they understand concepts or not. People are expendable. They are perfectly OK with letting good people go, while maintaining bad management. It is a who you know, not what you know company. The culture is one of underlying fear of losing your job, mainly due to bad managers covering up their own short falls.

Pros

One of the few major tech companies in Mississippi. Great if you don't want to leave the state, but that's the best benefit when Mississippi has so many issues itself.

Cons

Major disconnect between upper management's wants and the lack of resources to adequately achieve those desires. It is very evident they are trying to extract the most value for as little pay as possible. They have big projects with lofty goals, but it is evident they are a late mover to the markets they wish to be in. Their awareness of this is clear as day in how little they pay those to implement these ideas. Software engineers shouldn't have to work multiple years to barely break 70k with experience! And that pay comes with crunch if you are on a vital project. It is not uncommon to see co-workers on teams working into the night, on weekends, and even on holidays! The company recently revoked the free extra day we we're provided as part of Christmas and New Years holidays because of how they fell on the calendar this year. Who needs family when you have a major deployment huh? Which is such a joke coming from a company whose top heads claim to be so Christian. There was also a recent exodus of project managers who were all women as these major projects started to filter through the pipeline of tasks. It's very obvious that they left due to low wages and high expectations, coupled with rampant disrespect. Everyone is trying to find a way out if they haven't already.
