      Very unhealthy corporate culture and morale. Stay away.

      Pros

      They pay well, and it's in a convenient location. They have a near-monopoly on the market, so business is good.

      Cons

      Cobalt has an exceedlying unhealthy corporate culture. Lack of communication, miscommunication, and gossip prevails. A passive-aggressive, backstabbing attitude permeates many departments. Not all, but many.

      Pros

      It's a relaxed work environment in both dress and decor. We work in a restored ice house in SODO - and no one throws a better party than Cobalt. We work hard and play harder. Average age is about 27 and if you're 50 you're ancient...but cool.

      Cons

      There is no dress code....but afterall, it IS Seattle. Nuff said? If you don't mind a co worked with Green or Blue hair, a mohawk or wearing their PJs to the office, you'll fit in just fine. If you shop at Banana Republic or somewhere trendy, you will be in the top 5%

      Pros

      Close to Safeco Field. Close to Krispy Creme. Free long distance calls worldwide. It's been 3 years and I still call people in the UK, Canada, and Mexico on the cblt dime.

      Cons

      A low tech company that claims to be a in the tech sector. Just about everyone who knew the industry is no longer there. I would say the remaining are looking for something better. Good luck trying to win another OEM with sloppy seconds running the store. But what do you expect from mgrs that did not earn a BA/MA and are relying on dealership experience.
