Pros

Generous PTO, Monday-Friday, holidays off.

Cons

Terrible training, old antiquated system, salary is not enough for all of the responsibilities. Job posting did not state all of the duties the job entailed. Micromanaging. Favoritism among older employees, leaving the newer ones to do all the work. I think the worst would be the training, you get thrown on the phones without adequate training, leaving the customer angry and the employee frustrated that they don't know how to help.

Pros

Most people are friendly and easy to work with.

Cons

CNA, in many ways, is behind on the times. Their technology systems are very outdated. In HR they rely primarily on excel and Microsoft publisher to create their own tracking systems that are very slow, constantly crash, and are difficult to pull reports from. Also, they have a huge problem with diversity, or shall I say LACK THERE OF. There are very few minorities that work at the company, and no people of color in any positions higher than generalist. There are many white women in supervisor, manger and director roles, but no people of color.

Pros

- Some of the best managers in my entire career, but I believe there is potential to find this at any company - Because of my first comment, there were some great learning opportunities

Cons

- Vastly different set of performance standards across the various internal organizations (even sometimes within the same group) - There are leaders who create a hostile environment by acting in a threatening manner and playing favorites - Penny pinching all across the board - Long hours and weekend work
