Reputable company for future employment due to the Berkshire Hathaway umbrella, BUT THAT'S ABOUT ALL

Cons

Expected to warp into a 24/7 robot, no balance between work and personal life, extremely high risk of divorce, mental instability and detrimental physical health conditions (i.e. ulcer, heart attack, death, etc.)

Pros

A great group of people company wide. Very accessable at all levels and provided great support. Fresh ideas to stay on the top of their game and reach new business.

Cons

The computer systems were not totally intergrated and seemed overly complicated; entering data twice into two systems, inside sales and outside sales used two different systems so communication and knowlege was not always accessable to everyone in sales who may need it. It would be nice if we were all looking at the same stuff when needed.

Pros

Great benefits, great networking opportunities, & great education. Basically, you can reap the benefits of a large company with a big budget for some of the best networking events in town. But hang on to those business cards, because you will need them later.

Cons

When the numbers drop, it's every man or woman for themselves. Seniority rules and the good ole' boys club will do everything they can to justify their jobs & protect each other at all costs. They are report heavy. Afterall, all those execs need something to fill in their spreadsheets. Oh and don't expect to have a life outside of work. There's a reason they love to offer entry level sales positions a nice salary. Before you calculate out how many hours you work vs your paycheck, grab a barf bag.
