Pros

Software is at the heart of CT. We have our own custom built recruiting software, training software, and management feedback software. Being apart of the search engine optimization research and development team I work with every aspect of the company. The culture here at CT SEO is one of passion and fun. We work very hard to make sure that everything we do is the best it can be but we still take the time to have beer and brainstorming and other fun stuff like that. People who work remotely seem to be really happy here as they feel very included in the culture of the company as a whole.

Cons

CT moves very fast and this can be stressful. Every day there is new demands from clients and from our team to do better.

Pros

I wrote a big writeup on how this is a stepping stone company but Glassdoor looks like it lost that review. So I will just sum it up instead: CT is super intense to work at. You learn a ton and get tasked with responsibilities that will stretch your abilities. The downside is that you are closely monitored on work performance and if you don't measure up, you will end up burnt out. CT is good as a stepping stone, many of my former coworkers have gone on to be super successful including working at Google or Apple's secret lab.

Cons

Management is super intense. You have to record your time in Time Doctor and then each work item rated and reviewed by your manager. If you struggle, this causes lots of stress. If you do well, then you get promoted and get raises fast.

Pros

I have work remotely for CT for two and a half years as front end developer. I have learned tons on platforms like Wordpress, BigCommerce, Shopify, and Magento. My manager Aman is a GENIUS when it comes to development work and has forgotten more than most people will ever know lol. CT always paid me on time (last employer was always late) and the profit share program gives me big extra payments most months.

Cons

Working on LA time is difficult for me because I miss sleep and have weird schedule. This is the biggest con, would prefer to work on my hours.
