Pros

Good company to work for, was great versus the last job. Had us on WFH and was given good training opportunities Very friendly community and very good team co-operation and support team has a good sense of togetherness CEO is REALLY good. Cannot stress this enough. Upper and Middle management are good and treat us like people instead of a numbers game, very rare at mid size companies like this

Cons

Lack of support means the busy months are, busy, had a period near the end of 2021 that was full of cases where folks didn't see any less than 20, sometimes 30 cases a day(some of this due to cyberattacks on our tcp/ip providers so not much we can do there) Lack of interdepartmental communication hurts us quite a bit, a case of the left brain not knowing what the right is doing Knowledgebase needs vast improvement, many duplicate articles or articles that are tagged improperly and support doesn't have the time to go through and fix them up Minor things such as more WFH opportunities for support and possibly hiring a full time tech for the logistics and shipping team could help

Pros

CEO cares about us. During the horrible year that was 2020, our CEO showed he cared by promoting causes important to a lot if not most of us. He immediately sent us all home at the beginning of COVID even though I know WFH is not his favorite idea. :) He guided us with facts and kept us grounded by not blowing things out of proportion. He sent us funny videos and started a voluntary weekly call where people could get together and still feel like a family. He was in a constant state of updating us on the status of our building and when we could all be together again-namely-when it was safe to do so. He led with strength and courage and it really showed me that he cared for us. This alone is a great reason to work for Calltower, but others are: fair pay, great benefits package including time off for maternity/paternity leave, fun and capable people who stick around for the long haul, training opportunities that most companies this size can't come close to, a company that gives you the flexibility and autonomy to help the customer as much as possible.

Cons

Communication between teams is lacking. Overlapping in job responsibilities makes things confusing (such as another team telling you to do something that is clearly their job function, and you end up having to do it anyway, cause-well, the customer.
