High Growth, High Stress

Pros

Honestly a phenomenal product, and the benefits and pay CAN be good. The company comes off really strong on the surface, but all departments are starting to feel the stress of unrealistic expectations. Cultures and values are great!!!... but not exactly lived by.

Cons

SOME of the products are mandatory, but MOST are nice to have. They're also wildly expensive in an industry that is having a tough stretch (some states are better than others).

Pros

-The products are great and do streamline school processes -Excellent benefits package - CEO is great -Customers are great

Cons

-Workload and expectations are unrealistic -Work/life balance. This used to be great but now we work around the clock. -Some cliquey groups that are especially problematic because leadership fraternizes with their subordinates. Executives are aware of this but turn a blind eye to it or claim the friendships don’t result in special treatment (ha!). -Leadership is unwilling to take accountability for issues. -Very high stress. Employees always feel they will be fired if they mess up even if it’s not their fault. Employees are overworked and can’t possibly meet all expectations. -Critically understaffed -Has really gone downhill in the last year or so. -Compensation is meh. It would be great if we were working 40hr work weeks but I don’t know anyone who only puts in 40hrs. 50-60 seems to be the norm and can go up significantly from there.

CampusLogic is a rare organization in the education technology sector that keeps their promises and delivers technology that works on day one. The organization is clearly passionate about serving the Financial Aid sector and doing it better than anyone else.

Cons

The organization is in growth mode, which means some minor internal items will occasionally go to the back burner in favor of client needs. This is a great focus, but don't forget about the back burner!
