Pros

Can write sales experience on your resume.

Cons

I do not even know where to begin. The only reason anyone should take this job is if they are desperate with no other offers which is exactly what I did. First of all, the salary is an absolute joke. After benefits and taxes you are making a measly $30-40k range salary. There are also hidden bonuses where only certain members on the team receive extra money in their paycheck if they suck up to the managers the most, which other coworkers only found out through gossip. They are very secretive with how the pay structure works and raises making it completely unfair. I had the worst year of my life working here and developed stress eczema and had crying breakdowns due to the horrendous managers here. They are all only qualified based on amount of years working at the company and clearly need etiquette and manner lessons. They look at you as a calling machine rather than an actual human being. It is a strict 8:30-5:30pm 45-hour work week instead of the traditional 40 hour work week. Every single minute of your activity is tracked with calls, emails, clicks, when your laptop shuts off, etc. You are expected to make 100+ calls a day and get talked down upon if you do not hit your meeting goals. There is no HR department therefore no proper way to complain about your manager because you are just told to talk to your manager about any issues. They micromanage you and have absolutely no freedom. You are expected to send in an email every single day listing bullets of what you did and the conversations you had in fine detail. There is a very strict PTO policy where you cannot take off the end of the months, end of the quarters, or any day in September. Their holiday calendar is an absolute joke. You are expected to work Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Veterans Day, Columbus Day, etc. and do “administrative work” while all of the government agencies are closed where there is no point of working those holidays. Everyone on the team is constantly confused and having to bombard the managers for help because no one is ever properly trained. You get yelled at for messing up as a new hire only a few months in instead of getting corrected nicely. I am one million times happier now at a new job and finally realize what it is like working in non-toxic working environment. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

Pros

There is a 5 word minimum

Cons

Working here destroyed me within 5 months of employment. To start off, the CEO is a psychopath: if you have your cellphone out he will scream at you and potentially throw it across the room or in the trash. The CEO seems very paranoid of young workers and keeps them on a tight leash with tons on micromanagement (my current employer knows people are adults and would never treat anyone this way). The job itself is depressing - you are required to just make phone calls all day and it is not uncommon to be screamed or cussed at by the “customers” as they are not interested in what is being said to them. The pay is a complete joke, no one can afford to live on the starting “salary”. Do not expect a work life balance working here, the set hours are horrendous and on top of that it’ll take you 30 - 60 minutes to leave the parking lot. I was lucky enough to get out of this place before busy season and I am so thankful. During busy season you have to work mandatory 12+ hour work days without a lunch break and also weekends - you also do not get any extra compensation since you are salaried (there is currently a lawsuit against the company regarding this). You do not accrue PTO - you are given a set number of days of vacation each year which is below the standard. If you talk to your coworkers you will get screamed at since you are taking time out of the day to try and enjoy a few minutes instead of making phone calls. The medical and retirement plans are a joke and not worth it - the CEOs brother runs the 401K accounts which is sketchy. Taxes are done a strange way and I was told multiple employees ended up owing thousands at the end of the year in taxes. You do get free alcohol and a “paid company trip” - this trip is only 2 days so it’s not even worth it. I do think working here helped get me my current job as I probably looked destroyed in my interview since I took time off of work to interview. I also cried multiple days driving to work as I plain hated working here. If this is your only option, it is a job, but do not stay here...it is the worst company I have ever worked at.

Pros

Showed me what not to do in a job

Cons

Where do I even start, I was unemployed for a while so when I got an interview with said company I was so excited, only for it all to be torn down. The hours are long, the work is no where near rewarding. All cold calling all day. I once tried to help a coworker with an issue so I was not at my desk, I got scolded and told get back to work the line was "what are you doing of they need help they don't need yours" made me feel like crap. Honestly made me go home and cry. My recommendation is if possible go somewhere else but if it's your only choice go for it. Not all teamleads were bad some were very nice and wounderful
