Pros

You get an annual bonus.

Cons

Constantly changing expectations. Leadership that honestly does not know what they are doing (specifically Case Management). They overwork the case managers and ignore the CHWs who also are overwhelmed. Slow to backfill positions while the current staff drowns or flees. Being told to ask questions only to not get a clear answer. And being asked to do work that takes away from your actual job, but having your feet held to the fire everytime something falls behind. Meanwhile they gaslight you by saying things like "take self care breaks" but then ask you to explain 15 minute gaps outside of the documenting system knowing that we have to research certain certain information outside of CareSource systems. I beg anyone that values their mental health to avoid this place especially if looking at the Case Management department. It may be called Care4U but as an employee, they do not (unless you're on their list of favorites)

Pros

Salary and bonus are great if you ever get a bonus!

Cons

They do not treat employees or contractor well at all. They literally just gave a bunch of contractors 2 weeks notice around the holidays! One of their core values is valuing people. Ummm not really!

Pros

Excellent pay, benefits and usually a nice big bonus in the spring. Middle management (team leads) have always been great for the 10 years I was there. My peers were always fantastic, good working relationships and team work.

Cons

Wow. Where shall I begin. I started in 2012 and RNs and SW were beating their doors down to work for CS. It was an excellent place to work. Pam (the CEO and creator of CS) had a passion not only for our members but also her employees. She created a great culture to work for, it was a pleasure to get up every morning and work from home calling my members. Pam retired and a new CEO came in with a very liberal culture. Due to his management style many people started to leave the company. Upper management knew this was happening but would not fix the issues. They started recording calls which our members did not appreciate. Communication became very bad between middle management and upper management. No one knew what they were doing or could relay that to nurses and SW in the trenches. Changes happening all the time, you could not keep up. They started micromanaging. They started with quotas and that seemed to be all they cared about. "You didn't meet your monthly quota" You have been here for 10 years and have done a fantastic job but now you have to meet with management every week until you bring your quota back up. Quotas kept increasing. BTW that did not happen to me but it happened to my peers on a regular basis. They started to make us do these mandatory trainings of some kind of bias stuff; that made no sense. I ended up calling it a hostile work environment after this new CEO took over. The month that I quit it was the 3rd week into the month 300 people had quit. 1250 people quit in 2021. I would love to work for CS again if it had different management. Those people came in and destroyed a fantastic company. I miss the old CS I miss calling my members and having that special relationship with them. I miss my peers, and the team leads.
