Pros

- Work Remote - Good Benefits - PTO

Cons

When I first started working at Cash App, I was excited about the potential for growth and advancement within the company. However, recent events have left me feeling uncertain about my job security. The company has undergone a significant number of layoffs, and it seems that those who are willing to blindly follow management have been spared while many talented individuals have been let go. Additionally, there have been abrupt changes to our job responsibilities and schedules without any notice or choice. Many employees who were originally hired for messaging support are now being forced to take on voice calls. The advanced support channel is chaotic, and it seems that management is either absent or inexperienced. To make matters worse, it appears that the company is outsourcing much of its customer support overseas, leaving little room for growth or job security for those of us still here. Many of my colleagues are actively searching for new jobs as a result. Overall, what was once a great company has taken a turn for the worse in a very short amount of time. I would not recommend Cash App as a place to work if you are looking for stability and opportunities for advancement.

Pros

- The salary was really decent at Cash App. I was in Customer Operations, and the salary was good, the benefits were ok. - Easy to work remote.

Cons

- Interview process was really amateurish. I had someone with their camera off just sitting in all three interviews not saying much. - The onboarding was a mess, there actually wasn't much of an onboarding for my role, which was consistent with other Customer Operations roles. - I had no faith in the upper management or executive staff of the company. It always felt like they were focusing on the wrong things. - Red tape everywhere. It doesn't seem like management takes any feedback and tries to work on it, it just continues to create roadblocks for the teams that are trying to make meaningful change to the product. - Reorgs were a way of life, and it felt like the company would consistently put employees in limbo without coming up with a strategy for what to do with the employees.
