Unfortunately in social services the government agencies often require alot of paperwork. If you are an exempt employee you are able to earn comp time in lieu of overtime pay. If that policy was not being followed please report that to HR so that we can investigate and re-train management.

Quiet work where you can be by yourself and clean a job site, and the pay is okay for the simple work you're doing

Cons

Theres no upward mobility, you'll be stuck in a janitorial position for a while. Use this job as a stepping stone rather than a career.
