Pros

Some coworkers are pretty chill. You get to work with the application in depth.

Cons

Lack of system consistency from client to client. Some smaller clients are crazy. No exposure to working on cloud. Older tech

Thanks for sharing your feedback; only wish your experience was better! We do offer multiple products, and have various types of clients - from small mom & pop shops, to large retail enterprises. The type of client and interactions can vary greatly, depending on who you are talking to. That does tend to be par for the course though with most support roles. We have been working behind the scenes on our new product, with an entirely new tech foundation, and it is launching later this year! Exciting times here at Celerant.

Thanks for your feedback! We have made a lot of changes over the past year and a half- especially on the sales team side of our business. Bringing in the sales coaches is one of many new initiatives for our sales team - we are pleased to see this has helped!

Pros

Good co-workers, management and other employees can be personable. The job is the job. Lots of work so you're always busy. They can be accommodating if you need time off or have special circumstances.

Cons

Heavy micromanagement. They hire tech support managers that have no tech support experience. Your training is based on the knowledge of your team lead. Knowledgeable employees will gate-keep information to protect their own job. After your training period (2 weeks) you're on your own to figure out how proprietary software works. Incorporates AI knowledge base that tech support needs to maintain instead of actual training and knowledge from the creators of the software and new features/functions.

Thank you for your feedback; we only wish your experience was a better one. This past year, we implemented a comprehensive training program for new hires, so we have certainly put more of a focus there. The training period is more than 2 weeks - it is more like 2 months, but really it can take even longer to fully trained and ready to support our clients, on all aspects of our retail platform, We support all of the different generations of our software platforms as well, considering that we don't sunset our products. We allow our retailers to continue using our legacy platforms, if they prefer, and so it can be a challenge from a support perspective since there might be multiple platforms to learn. We wish you all the best in your new role!
