Pros

Most units have self-scheduling. Tuition reimbursement and half-off tuition at Research College of Nursing.

Cons

Staffing is always staffed at minimum leaving the workload to be at the max.

Work Overload!

Pros

Co-workers were nice, cafeteria food was pleasant. Facility was clean.

Cons

Management was too worried about "making goal for the month" so they would cut staff (nursing and support staff) and that would result in poor patient care due to overload. The floors that I worked on (3 of them) relied HEAVILY on staffing agencies. Because the staffing agencies didn't have the same regulation as the staffed nurses, they would have increased patient load. Underpaid in most departments (nursing, lab, support staff, janitorial)
