Pros

Newer hospital, always striving to improve patient care. I loved what I did and took pride in working with patients.

Cons

Had a corporate wide layoff, reduction in force about 3 years ago. I feel it was handled in a hostile manner. I've been laid off before but never treated as bad as I was treated. I was hired back about 4 months later but with no benefits. I will never work for an HCA hospital again. Their payscale is lower than most industry standards.

Pros

Great work for a student, because job performance standards are low for employees. Fun atmosphere and a lot of time to visit with fellow employees.

Cons

A lot of politics and favoritism goes on, along with unethical medical practices. I am not making these statements because I didn't get a promotion, I didn't want to advance at this facility.
