Pros

Perhaps anyone who leaves a company is bound to post an unhappy review - so here's one from one of the many happy people that work here! Most of the team has been here a while, and they are consistently helpful, happy, engaged and care deeply for the company and mission. This isn't a 9-5, but it's not a sweat shop! People care, so we're just not watching the clock. If you're passionate about your role and skills, you'll find many others like you.

Cons

We're growing, fast, so there's lots to do. Growth has it's challenges, but most rise to it, and revel in it.

Pros

HR is fine - quick and efficient. Biz Development team rather friendly, communicative and competent.

Cons

QA team is absolutely inefficient. Too afraid to communicate with others - both internally and externally. Crazy, heh? Probably because they don't know what they're doing. Might also be a language thing on top. Was always hard to understand what they were trying to say. Explains why they never answer the phone. Need a lot of patience and perseverance here, especially dealing with the wannabe "QA leads" who hide own inefficiency by imposing high expectations on others. Attack is the best defense, right?

Thank you for your comments! We are actually excited about our QA team, they are top notch and have been with us for a while, testing our software to make sure we provide our clients just the very best! At the same time we are also super proud of our diversity as a company, as we welcome employees based on their qualifications and capabilities. Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Pros

There's a mix of people internally they're all friendly. You can bring your dog to work. The office is in a good location, close to lunch spots, starbucks, and a gym.

Cons

The hiring process is poorly thought out and thats quickly reflected among the staff. Its a chop shop. The CEO is in charge of hiring, and since they don't have a good idea what talent they need they throw people against the wall to see what sticks. I was hired on and the 3-4 other people during my 4 month period were all fired as well. She'll claim you didn't "get it." But that's not true. She tells you what she thinks an idea for the job will be then you're left with no resources and guidance. The owners live in Colorado so they don't provide any insight or help to employees ramping up. Its a recipe for a disaster. If you are seriously considering the job, here's a few things to consider. 1. Dig in to your exact job details. Ask questions about your day to day. Please make sure they can justify a full time job out of what they're proposing. 2. What are they trying to solve? Do they know the real issue? Are you a real candidate for the position? They have a losing streak of poorly assessing talent. Don't be a victim. 3. Negotiate money up front. They're going to low ball, the benefits are expensive, no stock options, no matching 401, but they do offer you snacks. 4. Culture there is horrible too. Ask to speak to someone who's been there under a year or under 6 months during your interview process. Don't take my word for it, actually speak to reps or find people that worked there in the past on linkedin. They take care of their circle and everyone else is left on the outside. Some people there are just aren't recognized at all, its weird. They've been there for over a year and its like no talks to them. The owners put everyone at an arms distance because its not worth spending the time to treat you as humans/employees bc frankly they know, you probably won't be there that long. They know its a chop shop which is why you'll be hired as a contractor. Its less paperwork for them if you don't make it. Think about that.

Thank you for taking the time to write this very thoughtful review. A lot of your suggestions has been taken into consideration. We have a full time HR team onsite that is making sure all of our new hires are set with the needed tools to hit the ground running. As well as we now have a complete awesome management team in charge of guiding their new hires through the training process. With rapid growth comes big changes and adaptations and it sounds like you got caught in between. As you must know our expectations are always high and we have a very rapid pace workflow, for which our employees are and must always be up to the task and ready to go.. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.
