Pros

It was nice to sell a product native to SFDC. I got a MAC.

Cons

They have saturated the territories to with too many sales reps. This is not a place to go make money. They have promoted many inexperienced sales reps to middle management that have no idea how to manage and create a negative atmosphere. Even some more experienced sales management are passive aggressive and outright unprofessional. The only reason they have such high ratings on Glassdoor is because the CEO pushes all employees to post positive feedback.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are always trying to improve, and as rapidly growing company, we need to focus our efforts on making sure people don't encounter the sort of experience you describe here. We will look into your concerns listed and address them. We are constantly trying to improve. On the Glassdoor reviews, our CEO doesn't push for positive feedback, but rather we communicate that if you have something to say, positive or constructive, let us know. Glassdoor is one of those platforms if someone chooses to use it. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

- Some of the tech company perks, the occasional catered lunch, t-shirt, happy hour - Large revenue base, a real company selling a real product that can actually compete in the PSA space (but pretty much only in PSA) - "Great companies are bought, not sold".... yea, but this one might get sold some day (but realistically there is only one buyer), and there is a possibility (albeit tiny) for equity gains.

Cons

Where to begin: - High management turnover. Three of the c-suite have been there for any real amount of time. Company has gone through at least 4 CROs, a few CEOs, a few CCOs, lost a great head of legal, and that's just the c-suite.... place is a revolving door. All of the RIFs probably don't help. - So top-heavy. If you're at the top and you're in the club, you're well compensated and in good hands. For everyone else, there is no internal growth to speak of. So political too... the politics of Oracle with the business success of WeWork. - Zero investment in the right software or SaaS tools that could help propel them to success and improve the workflow. Feels like the entire company is run in excel. - Everything on a need-to-know basis. No clarity, minimal communication. Very opaque about how the company is doing. - Probability of equity gains mentioned above is probably abysmal. A tech company run like a manufacturing company: all about cost-cutting and controlling expenses. - Working there is depressing. Plain and simple.

Pros

Some really good people still working there Great location in downtown San Francisco PSA app is best in class

Cons

Rest of products are poor or mediocre Compensation is under-market Senior management, especially in sales, is not very competent Company still reeling from over-hiring in sales, not much money being made. Very, very few reps attain quota (they have to look for others who were close enough in order to fill up their club trips).

So sorry to hear that you're experience at FinancialForce isn't what you hoped it would be. Most of what you've listed here has been addressed in the last several months with recently added sales leadership and organization changes to better scale with us as we grow. Best of luck to you in your future.
