Pros

I loved my managers when I got hired, it felt like they were always on our side and our biggest advocates. The pay is also okay but you could make so much more working private practice tbh. The main thing I like is their commitment to the clients.

Cons

The newest development is they forced us to download software which allows them to spy on us. There was essentially no clinical training/guidance when I started, which was so stressful. I felt blindsided and unprepared for many emergency situations. You're basically expected to handle crises on your own, it's crazy that we have to fill out an entire form to get a crisis counselor and they don't come quickly. We're always doing something wrong or not enough same day admits. They are so hungry for admissions that they keep offering bonuses in exchange for poor work-life balance and don't even care to address the real reasons that people quit/leave.

Pros

They hire really amazing people, just to absolutely take advantage of them and ruin their mental health

Cons

This was truly the worst job I've ever had in my life. I lasted only a few months because it completely destroyed my mental health. It was the most toxic work environment, I had no work life balance, and leadership didn't care about their employees at all. They would often say "you're saving lives" to get you to feel guilty if you actually felt burnt out for the impossible metrics they had you hit. There was an environment of fear as everyone made you feel like you'd get fired every day if you didn't meet the insane expectations. Everyone on my team either got fired or left because they just couldn't take it anymore. I remember reading the negative reviews before I accepted the offer with Charlie Health, and said ohh maybe my experience will be different. But NO. LISTEN to this. You will be miserable in this job.

Pros

As Outreach, you get to network a ton and learn very quick how well other outreach reps are treated at other jobs.

Cons

One of the training and development reps asked me to hop on a zoom and told me that a question I had asked in slack, "made you seem incompetent and that you don't know how to do your job." Month two. After literally everything I had been trained on changed in the name of being a start-up. Do with that what you will. I could write a novel here, but 1. I don't want leadership coming after me and 2. Quite frankly, they're not worth my time anymore. Listen to the negative reviews, look at turnover rate, and run.
