Pros

None. They hire strong recruiters but then push them out. Thats it.

Cons

Every poor review about the GTM recruiting team is 100% accurate. Please read them. This team operates in a highly toxic, high-pressure environment with unrealistic expectations and little regard for work-life balance. There is a consistent culture of fear tied to performance and metrics. Management over this team often relies on intimidation rather than support, with frequent micromanagement and a tendency to undermine even strong, experienced recruiters. Performance improvement plans are HEAVILY normalized which contributes to a constant sense of instability. Turnover is extremely high year over year, with many strong employees leaving or being pushed out due to the environment and leadership style. Overall, it is not a team I would EVER recommend working for.

Pros

Remote work with laptop provided

Cons

Any positive reviews for Charlie Health’s talent department are current leadership trying to off set the abundance of negative reviews and incentivizing current employees to do the same. Do not work here. Listen to the negative reviews! It is almost guaranteed you will regret accepting a role with Charlie Health. Unfortunately, the worst my mental health has ever been was working for this mental health company. PIPs constantly threatened and extremely unrealistic KPI expectations. Several subjective reasonings for not moving forward with great candidates. An extremely dehumanizing candidate experience. Any concerns or questions about company culture are directed back to if you care about the mission enough. Not working at Charlie Health anymore has made my life so much better.

Pros

You are truly helping individuals get mental health care that works. You don’t feel slimy selling the program. You can make good money with higher admissions. Everyone here is kind and cares about the mission.

Cons

It’s a lot of work to be successful. Be prepared to do a lot, and it is always changes. It’s intense and they ask a lot of you, for not much reward other than the more clients you get in, the more you get bonuses. Typical corporate BS of “go the extra mile, because you’re saving lives.” Don’t take this role unless you’re okay with 4-6 hours of phone time a day. You will never do good enough in this role - be prepared to be praised if you do well, but constantly have your manager be asking for more.
