      Used to be good, but now it's heading down

      Pros

      No one gets fired. Yearly bonus that's usually higher then a month salary. Some departments are working on interesting stuff with great high level devs. Decent holiday gifts most years.

      Cons

      Cheap cheap cheap - salaries are low and you will feel scamped. Entry level employees really drag down the personal level. Micro management at every level Politics inside the company can deny you moving from department to department The evaluation process is absurdly affected by internal politics. It's really not an employee and manager process

      Pros

      Friendly and young coworkers. Always looking for young, inexperienced employees. Employees don't get fired often. Each year getting bonus and salary raises when the performance is good.

      Cons

      Average salary. Sometime gives the feeling of a cheap company. Work performance measurement based on half-year review, sometimes give the feeling that past successes will not count when a present project is failing.

      Technology, exposure to exciting projects.

      Senior Management (CEO & VPs) Yell, scream, humiliate, abuse employees on a regular basis. When family member was diagnosed with life threatening Illness and I needed a half day to be at the hospital, No to bring personal problems to the office. 1 half day of PTO. The problem starts at the top and goes down from their. Employees are humiliated on a regular basis in front of peers and the people they manage. The next moment it happens to he person standing next to you. The saying at Check Point is that they don't fire you but the make you wish they had. The less contact you have with Management the saver
