Pros

Free lunch which is late or stolen by another underpaid , overworked employee

Cons

- there are 25+ managers employed at this office, maybe 2 or 3 you would consider "good" and those are on night shift. - call center job.. self explanatory ( often work through break, never stand up, headsets are particularly bad ) - HUGE turnover (the week I left there were 3 others. Including an employee who had been there for over 10 years, fired in a heartbeat.) - in the year I was there, i counted well over 10 emails saying who had quit / been fired. 2 of our 10 trainees walked out mid way through training . (literally walked out) - trainers are hideously prepared and the content is exceptionally dry. They don't seem to care much. - you will constantly be pryed at by group managers to accept additional duties. ( including training yourself between calls, working late, weekends, from home , to route calls for other busy engineers because of the huge understanding issues. ) - free lunch seems to be sucking people in .. I assure you this arrives cold and is heavily fried/greasy. If you are on night the food sits for up to 6 hrs at room temperature before you arrive. - they will tell you that you can be moved off the night shift within a few months, this will likely not happen for years, while new hires take the day shift positions. - they never back up the engineer should a conflict arise, and if you defend yourself in the slightest you stand to be terminated. - you will be relentlessly frustrated to the point of giving up every single day of your life. And management will keeep coming - unless you are severely overweight or unable to move/ show and type of natural human spirit, I urge you to find a healthier job.

Pros

Free lunch which is great, and if you are interested in the IT industry this is a good place to get initial training.

Cons

Company does not pay well for any position. Managers don’t care about their employees but only their success. It is very hard to grow in company as a lot of higher up positions are given to a friend, uncle or sibling. Unless you work in the California or New York office don’t expect to be taken seriously. Managers in the Irving office tend to do whatever without consequence as their managers are not even in the same state. They set high expectations for their employees but don’t follow or meet them themselves.
