Many patients "would rather die than go to CRMC again".

Pros

Getting to work with the patients.

Cons

Very poor management. I worked there for a couple of years and management fires good employees because they don't like them rather than basing decisions on actual work related reasons. I have seen good employees "black-balled" from other positions in the hospital because their boss want to keep them where they are. Bad management keeps bad employees and encourages mistreatment of the good employees - until they fire them for speaking up. The title of my review was a direct quote made to me by several patients and family members of same.

Pros

Great medicine and some good doctors

Cons

Awful work environment, so much gossip, drama, and involving HR in petty issues. Management in the ER does not care about nursing staff safety and allows violent patients to avoid the locked wing because it's convenient for them. The hospital will fire anyone to avoid a lawsuit even if the hospital management is who caused the situation. Great nurses have lost their licenses due to the unsafe environment. The psychiatric wing of the hospital is incredibly unsafe for staff. The ED tries to act like a Psych ER but they're not and just put staff and patients at risk. They also just lock psych patients in a room for 72 hours, give them medication, and provide almost zero mental health help.

Pros

great community, lot of potential

Cons

upper management, too many bosses, old school culture, no respect for hardwork or loyalty. a very opportunistic environment, no team work. you get promoted based on who you know... people with real talent are kicked or pushed out.
