Everything else. Worked at White House Black Market corporate office. Left on good terms, but 100% could never recommend working at this company or chicos FAS to anyone, Truly the most disorganized place you’ll ever work. Everyone is extremely extremely unhappy. And angry. And hates their jobs and lives. And talk about it ALL the time making the environment never ending misery. If you try and talk to HR about anything, nothing comes out of it. The building you’ll work in is dirty and stuffy. Everyone always has a cold or a sore throat. The building is as old as the way the work there. People are not up to the modern era with technology or knowledge. There are LITERAL paper trails in 2018. Definitely needs more young blood but no one wants to move to Fort Misery, FL. If you are in your 20s - most people who work here at 35+ with kids- just so you know. Also, you won’t get hired unless you’re from NYC or have extensive experience in fashion (preferably NYC fashion). Meaning... no one has any fresh ideas! So you’re constantly doing the same things over and over again and calling them new cause some new NYC hire told you to. Then they stay for 2 years until their relocation contract runs out and then they bounce. Can’t speak for chicos and soma but my friends at those brands say the same things. Good luck chicos FAS... glad to be far away from you.

Entirely too top-heavy. Am surprised they don't have a VP of toilet paper and a Senior Director of lawn care. Management gives impression of caring, but watch your back. These people eat their young. And for a company who claims their target demographic is the older woman, their current roster of buyers are much younger than that age group and don't seem able or willing to relate to the core customer and what she wants. Have heard time and again that their formerly loyal customer is looking elsewhere because the company seems intent on forcing her into looks she doesn't want, and is ignoring what she's asking for. Hey Chico's -- ever heard the expression, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it?"
