Pros

Nice office staff, enjoy the children and other nurses. Schedule is flexible. Mostly 12 hour shifts. I believe the pay is a little above average.

Cons

Poor benefits and only a 38 hours a year in PTO so with 12 hour shifts that is 3 days per year. If your patient has to be hospitalized...there goes your PTO because you do not get compensated unless you are actually working. The absolute worst thing is holiday pay! If you are in over time hours.. you do NOT get holiday pay. They don't pay both overtime and holiday. So DO NOT volunteer to work a holiday that is not part of your schedule!

Thank you for your positive review and would like to address your specific needs with you. Generally speaking to your concerns; we know that if a patient is in the hospital it will affect the nurse's hours so we offer the nurse an alternate schedule or to help with one of our other offices. Sometimes situations occur that will not work with the nurses schedule and we apologize if this happened to you. We also offer increased PTO for our long term employees. Holiday pay (time and a half) is paid at the same rate as overtime rate or if not in OT you would be paid holiday pay. Our labor policies follow what the Department of Labor mandates. If an employee is already in overtime unfortunately he/she does not receive double overtime. We offer holiday pay to assist our patients in having help over the holidays. We value the nurses time and availability and this is a small way we can give back to them.
