Pros

PTO, benefits, the office staff is friendly and always help when needed, great options for different cases. I also liked how I get oriented to each case and training is always offered.

Cons

Would love to have a 401K

Pros

Excellent staff and leadership. This company works hard for both the patient & family, and their nurses! Great way to contribute to helping others while earning income-good sense of purpose. Good opportunities to constantly be exposed to new diagnoses and skills to keep learning. Good orientations and ability to learn more from experienced nurses and doctors, as I accompany pt to many appts. Have had the opportunity to work with some amazing patients & their families!

Cons

Like any other HH agency there are sometimes difficulties w/ finding pt cases near my home, and not on the weekend. Sometimes my planned mthly budget is destroyed if a pt goes into hospital or suddenly goes on vacation w/ little notice-another pt case is not always available. Sometimes parents of patient can expect nurse to do unreasonable things, such as administer a home remedy or babysit siblings while parent is at work, or work in tense or dirty environment, or in extreme temperatures. Finding time/place to eat a lunch can sometimes be very challenging-same for restroom visits and also ability to obtain all doctor orders & pt history info needed from the family. It can be very hard to make phone calls to the agency or pharmacy, Doctor, etc, while trying to care for your patient at same time; just grab time here & there as best you can. Driving ppwk to Dropbox once a week takes a lot of time. Very difficult to get pto and ins because of hours required.

Pros

For people who like working in a one on one setting taking care of medically fragile children or young adults this is the place to be. As an employee I am given paid time off, paid mileage, and excellent wages along with shift and acuity differentials. I am able to pick up extra shifts as they become available and the staff does their best to help get coverage for any vacation requests that I make.

Cons

Can't think of any. I've worked for other home health agencies and this is by far my favorite.
