Pros

This company really takes care of their nurses. If I need anything for my assignment, ANYTHING, they get it to me. Even pens! The pay is competitive, and is every 2 weeks with direct deposit. This is a great home health company to work for. The office is far from my location, (68 miles one way) but I only have to drive there twice a year, so it's not bad. Everything else is done via email, and snail-mail. I'm so glad I work here.

Cons

office location is far from my home

Pros

I have enjoyed working with Children's Home Healthcare for the last 5 years. The office staff in all locations truly care about their patients and all the field staff.

Cons

The home health care industry can be stressful at times.

Pros

PTO hours available, differentials for night and weekends, good hourly shifts, you can pick the shifts you would will take, staff is overall friendly. Seeing changes in your patient's growth, teaching family and the patient new skills even how to say their name. This job is very self rewarding and encourages me to do more to be the best to see more improvements. Also to help ease families into new situations that can be stressful with out assistance. No specific dress code color in uniforms. Some casual days with work shirts.

Cons

Make sure your paid milage if it is guarentee, minimal PTO occured, if your patient is sick in the hospital and there is no patient to take care of, then your out of pay for the week. Easy to get attached to family, and separate work from your own family.
