You work per service hour, therefore you are basically chasing for your money.

Thank you for your feedback Former Outpatient Therapist in Tampa. Glad to hear you thought the money, benefits and trainings were good...that's positive! Yes, most of our clinical positions are Fee For Service, which is reimbursed for each session provided, much like being in private practice, but you are most certainly an employee and receive a W-2 for taxes. We provide many trainings and support groups to work on building rapport and increasing engagement with clients and families which has proven very helpful for team members struggling with clients keeping appointments. We have also implemented Telehealth Services, which helps tremendously and everyone using seems to enjoy the convenience. Be well and thank you again for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated!

Always felt supported, benefitted from ongoing trainings, and my supervisor was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and available.

Cons

The "hourly rate" is enticing, until you realize that half of your ACTUAL working hours are "paid hours." You end up making about half the rate per hour.
