      Pros

      I feel like I work for myself because there is a certain feeling of freedom to the job and I like that.

      Cons

      Going to people homes can sometimes be unsafe so there is always a worry factor for me but I manage.

      Thank you for your kind review Outpatient Therapist in Orlando. I was a previous therapist and I understand how home visits can feel unsafe at times. Please make sure that you notify your supervisor if there are any homes that you are not completely comfortable visiting due to unsafe circumstances. Chrysalis Health takes employee safety very seriously and will make accommodations if needed to ensure your safety. The shadow training is such a great idea! We have actually implemented already for new hires upon request. Not everyone wishes to shadow because they have work for another company doing very similar work so it was never mandatory as part of our training curriculum. I agree, when someone is new in this position, thorough documentation review should be a priority in an effort to be more proactive with learning curve errors. I will certainly communicate your recommendation to have highlighted during supervision. If you can think of anything we can do differently or more of, don't forget to chime in at our quarterly Think Tank sessions for employees :)

      Pros

      Working for Chrysalis Health is a great opportunity. They frequently hire from within and I feel like the pay is more than adequate compared to others.

      Cons

      I have heard others complain that they believe the pay could be better. There are some documents that we don't get paid for completing but other than that I feel that if you are willing to work hard you are adequately compensated.

      Thank you for your kind review Anonymous Employee. The pay in this industry will always be a concern for some. As a previous Therapist myself, I do understand this concern, but there are ways to organize your schedule and make more than management! We are continuously striving to create new and innovative ways to add to your total compensation. And you are correct, we are currently in the process of rezoning many areas throughout the state which will definitely improve the referral process, thank you for bringing that up. If you can think of anything else we can do differently or more of, don't forget to chime in at our quarterly Think Tank sessions for employees :)

      Love my job. Reiving Great Support

      Pros

      I love the fact that I started my career with Chrysalis. They really put an emphasis on training and preparing employees for working with difficult mental health/substance abuse populations. The supervisors have been amazing and supportive. They really have an open ended policy, which is refreshing!

      Cons

      The job is what you make it, as a fee for service employee. So you will make money if you make yourself available to the clients. If this is a second job, or you have too much going on, it might not give you the money that you are looking for.
