Pros

great company, a detailed training program for newcomers, great coworkers, A lot of PTO from the start, a great management team, a wide range of benefits some of which are great, you get to learn the various aspects of banking: customer service, teller line, sales and referrals

Cons

It is a sales job with unrealistic goals, incentive plan is attractive but misleading: many stars have to align in order get your incentive / bonus (new checking accounts, new to money goals, branch customer experience score.) As a result, employees are pretty demotivated and there is high turnover. You pay a lot for Cigna medical insurance with Express Scripts, and then you pay a lot for services after. 401K has low 4% company contribution

Pros

A nice place to start, good practice modules, extra income with sales bonus up to 4000 a year and good medical benefits.

Cons

Lack of team work, under appreciation, micromanagement and toxic environment due to most employees being negative. Sometimes you don't think as a banker due to long working hours and work load will break your back.

Pros

In comparison to other financial institutions, Citizens seems to pay better for the entry-level positions. For In-store employees, there are none. But for the traditional bankers, the hours and recognized holidays off are a nice.

Cons

Upper management fails to see the value in their employees. There is high turnover so often branches are almost always understaffed and it is the employee who are penalized for it (by poor customer satisfaction ratings or fail to produce the absurdly, high sales goal) making the work not worth the reward. False hopes about uncapped bonus potential.
