      Benefits, PTO, summer hours and Some co-workers

      Cons

      Sr management needs some serious help. All positions from supervisor up require a college degree however if you are liked by the right people they turn a blind eye to that missing requirement. Ultimately it is the company that suffers because Multiplan is being run by a management team that is clueless and grossly undereducated. Don’t let the ratings fool you. The 4 and 5 stars you see are all upper management harping on how amazing upper management is. Well tooting you’re own horn doesn’t make it so. If they had the required education from very top down Multiplan would operate much more efficiently and effectively. There would be no need for leading by threats of write ups and loss of bonuses. Everyone could successfully do their own jobs without micromanaging others. And people would get credit where credit is due rather that upper management taking credit for the wins and pushing blame off on those under them to cover their own discrepancies and failures.

While some leadership positions require a college degree, many of these opportunities are available to individuals who do not have a degree but have demonstrated the requisite ability, skills, and experience. There are times when certain knowledge or expertise must be obtained from outside the company. This decision is based on thorough examination of the organization’s needs and suitability of existing staff. While we will always strive to fill our leadership positions internally, we will select individuals that are best qualified for success in their role, and ultimately for our organization as a whole.       Monotonous work and dated tech stack

      It is easy to be successful as most of your coworkers definitely cannot solve basic algorithmic questions like tree traversals

      Cons

      You have to deal with coworkers and management who are mediocre at best, when it comes to technical competence. This is no amazon or google where you have extremely talented people. This is your run of the mill software shop, with most of the work done by h1b or ex h1b employees, who are happy to remain one trick ponies and not keen on learning new things. They use bloated technologies like Oracle fusion Middleware and ADF, which is a nightmare to work with

      Dress code, can stay there for lots of years,

      No plan for advancement in any department, the only people who move up or around are the managers, HR is awful they dont know what discreet means and they say lots of things that are racially and politically out of line. Worse company i have ever worked for.
