Pros

Global, works in great markets, legacy brands very well respected.

Cons

The CEO only cares about share price and all talk of dignity and respect is cast aside when something needs to be done to please the Street. Talk of diversity and inclusion recently totally undermined when the most senior POC and LGBT executives were sacked and replaced by cis straight white men without an interview process.

Pros

They have dealt with the pandemic fairly well, but that's not very hard for a company like this to do anyways. I'm not impressed. They speak well. They don't act like they mean what they say, but they say it well.

Cons

Clarivate acquired my company early this year. There has been a lot of spin around this, which I've become accustomed to this year, but they definitely pulled the rug out from under us by switching us to their vastly inferior benefits plan with only Q4 left to go. I'm not going to bother with the finer details, but suffice to say, I'm not the only person who is very, very unhappy with what Clarivate has done to our benefits this year in the middle of a pandemic.

The content is good. and the CEO *appears* to have good PR skills

Cons

I honestly feel bad for the people. This is a company with poor financials. the debt load is over 2 fold revenues. The company reached out to the public for a bail out. Now it's in the hands of the public. With cash flow barely positive, the company intends to cut costs and raise money by trading stock. Content is good but outdated because of poor decisions by earlier management and finds itself 15 years behind!
