Pros

- You'll come across a handful of really awesome, talented people that make this job "survivable" - You'll be busy enough that you can at least distract yourself from how soul-sucking your job is. - You'll get praise from the CEO for kicking your family dog to the curb to put work first!

Cons

- Absolute chaos from all levels. No clear direction or strategies, so many gaps throughout the organization. - Better start acting like a money printer because you're certainly not a person. - Used to be a decent company to work for when I first started. Only 35% of employees are in a 50-mile radius of Utah, but apparently bringing them back in will somehow achieve great business results. - Not sure how they can get away with the blatantly misogynistic and ableist policies and messaging. RtO policies disproportionately impacted mothers and they literally don't care.

CEO is horrible

Pros

Individual teams can be good to work on

Cons

The CEO (James Clarke) is ego driven. From his very first day with the company, he has consistently demonstrated a total lack of care about the people within the company, and thinks everyone should be willing to sacrifice their entire lives for the business, while not providing a single reason why. He will insult and belittle employees, lie directly to them, and then spend 20 minutes complaining during a company call about how everyone is so mean to him. He has repeatedly told the entire company that we're not good enough, past employees weren't good enough, and that we need to do better. He never stops complaining long enough to bother to provide anything resembling a plan, vision, or strategy for the company. These are the exact opposite qualities a leader of a company should have.

Pros

Individuals and teams within the organization are all great & welcoming, employees are clearly focused on DEI and helping each other no matter what the problem is

Cons

The return-to-office mandate is unethical on so many levels, but the way the CEO handled questions and concerns was despicable. I have never witnessed anything more unprofessional or uncalled for in my entire career as the CEO of a major company telling his employees that their concerns about transportation, childcare, and mental health are "nonsense". James Clarke claims to be a champion of single mothers while ignoring that this move would disproportionately affect them, along with countless others who have disabilities, families to care for, and responsibilities that drove them to look for remote work in the first place. Much of the company was hired under the remote-first mantra from Clearlink, many of the company still is remote as they live outside the 50-mile radius from the new headquarters, but the CEO made it abundantly clear that he has no respect and in fact incredible disdain for anyone who chooses or needs to work from home. Avoid this company at all costs, it's a sinking ship.
