Pros

- Friendly coworkers - Casual corporate culture

Cons

- Boring clients with terrible products. Hard to market brands that have terrible customer service and misleading tactics. - Account management and the call center were both incentivized by bonuses, but those were never shared with the marketing teams making it all happen.

This is a sinking ship

Pros

Good response to Covid, overall. Got people working remote quickly and effectively. Weekly pay Good benefits Generous time off (more than 3 weeks) Half-day Fridays (for now, at least)

Cons

Clearlink is slowly splitting into two different companies. If you work for the "right" side of the company, you're golden (probably). If you work for the other side, you will always be overlooked, your team will always be understaffed, and you'll constantly be stuck with bad management. This is the side that will likely be dissolved in the next couple of years, but good luck figuring out which part of the company you're actually interviewing for. -Bad management. Managers get hired or promoted with very little leadership experience or training, and they're often just straight up not qualified for their jobs. People only get promoted here when they're friends with higher ups. - No career path. Have fun working a dead end job. Clearlink likes to say they hire internally for open positions, but that's just not true. Sometimes they like to make up new positions to satisfy people, but the the title has nothing to do with what you're doing or what your pay is. - They lie to you in the interview and onboarding process. Your job will probably be very different from whatever is in the actual job posting. - The company has no mission and no vision. All they know is that they want to make money, but they don't seem to actually have any clue how they're supposed to do that. - Employees are under-payed and under-valued - No learning opportunities. Trying to get any kind of extended learning or training is like pulling teeth. If you want to supplement your knowledge with certifications, courses, conferences, etc, you'll probably end up having to pay for it yourself.

Pros

I really can't think of any.

Cons

The company, due to the pandemic, has made more money than in its history; BUT, you wouldn't be able to tell. They are penny-pinching, off-shoring, and restricting promotion opportunities. Yes, some pop up every once in a while, but it is nothing like it used to be. Everybody is in fear that their job will be offshored soon, since Clearlink is barely trying to keep that hidden. It's become a place of fear, and I can't name too many people that enjoy their time at Clearlink. Sad to see.

We are sorry to learn about your negative experience. While we are exploring a few offshoring opportunities where they make sense for our business, that is far from a central or far-reaching effort for us. Also, the reason that it seems like we are not trying to keep the few offshoring opportunities we are exploring hidden is that we are not hiding anything; we are being transparent and earnest in our efforts to help people who might possibly be impacted develop new skills to help them transition into much needed new roles. We would encourage you to speak with your manager or director and ask for better clarity around this subject so you can better understand the reasons and strategies around it.
