Pros

Products and technology are delivered rapidly to customers. Business decisions are made quickly. Diverse business, wide variety of technology in use. Opportunity to work closely with customers. Employees who make it through their first 1-2 years tend to stay for a long time. Headcount is steady. CliniComp doesn't go through mass hiring cycles followed by layoffs. Willingness to pursue new business opportunities. Excellent benefits. Positive work environment.

Cons

Expectations for individual employees are high. Work hours can be long.

- Long standing company with many different projects to work on - Exposure to lots of technologies and encouraged to try new things - Healthcare IT is a deep and fun problem space to work in - Very good work-life balance and company has fully adopted and thrived with Hybrid/Remote work - Very friendly employees - Ambitious upper management - Fantastic benefits - Fair Pay

Cons

- number of different projects going on pulls engineers away, questionable allocation of resources - competing directions for the company from upper management, disconnect between goals - poor onboarding and ramp-up process for new engineers, lots of tribal knowledge - engineering specific teams are too independent, longstanding employees are not as welcome to change - Development and delivery moves slow due to lots of overhead - Compensation increases are minor and only occur once a year, even if a promotion occurs

Cons

Can often be too many meetings and would like the salaries to be a bit more competitive with the market.
