Pros

You can use the job title “consultant” to easily pivot to another job once you decide to leave the company.

Cons

Management, please stop spamming Glassdoor with fake reviews. So, so cringey that you would take time to form a concerted effort to silence the voices that are pointing out real issues with your company.

Pros

-Good for the first 6 months out of college and teaches you a good amount about healthcare.

Cons

-The pay -Undervalues employees -Keeps under performers for far too long -Acts as if their employees are errant children -Most employees leave before 2 years due to low pay and expectations as well as boring work -Highest turnover I’ve ever seen that management sees as normal instead of trying to fix why people are leaving -Obviously fake reviews above by management to try and paint a better picture than the reality of what this company actually is -management has only worked at Cloudmed and it shows with bad people skills/management style as well as disorganization and no creative thinking -promotion used to be based solely on tenure which is the main reason people left -ceo all hand meetings are cringey and usually leave people insulted or weirded out

Easy, boring, and expendable labor

Pros

I guess that the work is insanely easy? Depending on the department you can put in the bare minimum and be told you're doing a great job. The company was recently acquired by another company (R1), and as a lower level employee you can fly under the radar for a really long time (assume this is because no one except the C suite has any idea what's happening with the acquisition or literally anything). I'd be shocked to meet another employee who truly feels that we're making a positive difference in the healthcare world. But, if you're desperate for a job and need to fill some time on a resume, this could be a decent spot!

Cons

Like any huge company, they'll do whatever it takes a save a dime, but then attempt to mask it with a free catered lunch on Wednesdays (IF you rsvp and IF you live near an office). You can definitely make more money elsewhere, as pay and benefits are really not that competitive here. However, if you don't want to be challenged or aren't a career-oriented person, you might find you can hack it for many years here. The work is mind-numbingly boring, too. The irony is that they bring the company together for All-Hands meetings to talk about the exciting ways they're using and investing in automation - ah, yes, I'm looking forward to the day I'm fired because you realized a computer can do my job! Like any other large-ish company, they really don't care about you as an employee here, but that's business, baby!
