Thank you for sharing your balanced feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to highlight both the positives and areas for improvement. We’re pleased to hear that the increase in Team Leader pay this year has been recognised. For the last three years our front line store workers have been awarded pay increases above inflation levels. Competitive pay is an important part of how we value our colleagues, and we regularly review our reward structure to ensure it reflects the responsibilities of the role. We understand your concerns around staffing and workload and we advise speaking to your manager in the first instance to make sure that your views are being heard.

Thank you for sharing your experience and highlighting what you value about working at Co-op, such as our community focus, charity work, and flexibility for students. It's great to see that you are appreciative of the 30% colleague member discount we offer as well. We’d like to clarify one point: while managers are there to support and guide, completing tasks is a shared responsibility across the team. We rely on everyone to play their part in delivering great service for our customers and communities. Leaving tasks incomplete can impact colleagues and customers, so we encourage open communication and teamwork to make sure everything gets done. We also note your comments on pay and hours. Our pay structure is designed to be fair and consistent, and we regularly review it against industry standards. For hours, we aim to balance availability with demand, and we encourage colleagues to speak with their manager if they’re looking for more shifts. Thank you again for your feedback and review.
