      Solid foundation in facilities project management

      Pros

      Working for Facilities at CSU was a pretty decent gig. I was able to work on a number of high-profile projects and really learned a lot about project management from the universities perspective.

      Cons

      Some people in the management could be petty. At times work would go though a boom bust cycle, one week you'd be twiddling your thumbs, the next you'd be slammed with work.

      Pros

      It is a great place to work because you are generally working with students so they are open-minded and geared to learning.

      Cons

      There is currently a pay raise lock as the school is not receiving enough funding. In tough times the university suffers because the state cannot provide further funding.

      Opportunities to travel, work with positive, supportive and humorous colleagues, pride in being part of a great institution, great benefits.

      Cons

      Workload is increasing, budgetary issues with state finance have led to no raises for anyone for the last 3 years.
